I too love Pursilla ..Do you know Sylvia I had a cat just like her.
I got her as a kitten in 1940 and she was called " TABBY" I had her till she was 18 and when she died I had a day off work.....such was my pain of losing her...and she is buried in the back yard of the family home I now live in....But I can't remember where ,although it was under a fruit tree of which there were 10 at the time.. but none remain ,so she is there somewhere...

Hi Lois and le enchanteur,
I know how difficult it is to lose a pet you have loved for many years. We also had a cat that looked similar to the one in the picture. She became very ill and we had to have the Vet put her away. We still miss her even tho' we have Dusty and love him too!
We have to bring our cats to the tree house!

Pursilla reminds me of my tabby Pom Pom - the first cat I had when I was 5 years old. We could dress him up in doll's clothes and push him around in a pram. He lived to the grand old age of 13 and was much missed. Excellent idea to bring our cats to the tree house

Sylvia,I adore Pursilla! I am doing a collage on my late cat, Bleu, and I never thought to put her in an elegant night gown. Thank you for your inspiration.
